Solutions Architect

Location: Brussels / hybrid (40% office, 60% home)

Role USP: You design scalable, secure, and future-proof IT solutions, lead architecture standards across platform, infrastructure & security, and translate business needs into robust technical designs.

As a Senior Solution Architect – Infrastructure & Platform , you are the go-to expert for shaping the technology landscape. You collaborate with developers, analysts, infrastructure teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions that empower business and end-users.

You define architecture standards, oversee implementation, drive innovation, and provide guidance on strategic IT decisions. You ensure consistency, security, and seamless integration across all platforms.

• Lead the design of solution architectures (functional, technical, security, integration)
• Define and promote architecture standards and long-term technology roadmaps
• Develop and maintain reference architectures for platform components and security solutions

Implementation & Oversight

• Guide implementation of solutions to ensure compliance with architecture and technology choices
• Provide technical recommendations to project managers and senior leadership
• Drive process improvements and innovation in IT infrastructure and platform services
• Work cross-functionally with developers, analysts, infrastructure architects, and security experts
• Mentor teams and act as a trusted expert within the organization
• Foster clear communication, problem-solving, and alignment across stakeholders

Must-haves:

• Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of IT experience (Developer, Analyst, Project Manager, or Architect)
• Deep expertise in IAM/CIAM, cloud architecture, Trust Services (EIDAS), security & infrastructure
• Familiarity with security frameworks and identity management
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills
• Languages: Fluent French or Dutch (with passive knowledge of the other), proficient English

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure & platform projects
• Hands-on with cloud-native solutions and modern security frameworks
• Coaching and mentoring skills
