FunctieomschrijvingA bachelor’s degree in chemistry / Analytical chemistry or chemical engineering. A master is a plus. Profound knowledge and relevant practical experience ( 2 years +) in analytical techniques such as : HPLC (High-performance liquid chromatography), LCMS (Liquid chromatography mass spectrometry), GC (gas chromatography), purification technologies,etc. knowledge and experience in supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) would be a plus. The ability to ensure high scientific quality standards for experiments and take on responsibility for these experiments. Confident, articulate, and professional speaking skills in English. A proactive approach, adaptive and a sense of urgency attitude. Fast-learning and accurate. Flexible and adapt quickly to constantly evolving business needs. Ability to work both in a team and autonomously. A full-time (40hours / week) Monday – Friday job. A Permanent contract with flexible working hours. (Can start between 7 : 00 and 9 : 30am) Place of work : Beerse, Belgium. Bus stops in front of the facility. Get to work with an international team. Meal Vouchers 8 Euro / Working Day. Job Description
As Lab Analyst, you will be working with a driven service team within the global discovery chemistry department. To keep it short, your responsibilities will include :
- Performing purifications in support of synthesis, focusing on Reversed Phase High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) coupled with Mass Spectroscopy (MS).
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Preparing and writing of : Technical ReportsManuscriptsOther documents that record data or results.
