The Artificial Intelligence Tribe is seeking an expert Data Scientist with at least 6 years of experience, including hands‑on work on production‑grade GenAI applications. In this role, the Data Scientist contributes to project deliverables and guides teams in implementing data science and AI best practices aligned with customer expectations. Responsibilities include ensuring solutions are scientifically sound through proper methodology selection, appropriate framework usage, and a data‑centric mindset.

How do we imagine our future expert Data Scientist?

• Address business challenges by creating AI applications (e.g., virtual assistants) to enhance client experiences, empower employees with high-quality tools, and automate or optimize internal processes.
• Ensure the squad delivers key AI features that improve solution quality and help applications reach their required business performance levels using measurable input‑output metrics.
• Focus on objective model evaluation, ground truth definition, and metric design, while maintaining high GenAI application quality by identifying issues (e.g., adversarial behavior, toxicity, hallucinations), detecting them through red teaming, and mitigating them with guardrails.
• Use a wide range of analytical techniques generative AI and predictive AI including GenAI methodologies : prompt engineering, RAG, fine‑tuning, speech‑to‑text, agentic applications, image generation / interpretation, NLP, and classical statistical or machine learning techniques. You are not expected to master all of them, but should demonstrate strong expertise in core technologies and the ability to learn rapidly when needed.
• Demonstrate extensive programming experience in Python and contribute to the deployment of AI applications into production using a full stack of supporting tools.
• Present results directly to senior management.
• Work with diverse and extensive datasets, applying your expertise to high-value use cases.
• Evolve in an environment where innovation, continuous learning, lean processes and open communication are encouraged, and where teamwork is strongly valued.
• Collaborate with colleagues within an Agile organization who share knowledge and support each other.

Language requirements

Education

A Master’s degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, engineering…). Candidates from other backgrounds may apply if they have substantial analytical knowledge.
