Description de posteYou have a bachelor’s degree in legal practice and several years of relevant experience in the business world. You always stay up-to-date with current legislation and are willing to update your knowledge. You are conscientious by nature : precision, accuracy, administrative excellence and orderliness are in your DNA. You can work independently with a healthy dose of responsibility. You are discrete and solution-oriented at all times. Deadlines do not scare you off. You can set priorities and have strong organisational skills. You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch (both written and spoken) and can express yourself fluently in English and French. You have a good command of Microsoft Office and you are willing to learn to work with new (internal) tools.
Due to strong growth, Pollet Group is looking for a new colleague. You will join the legal team of three colleagues and report to the HR & Legal Director. Together with your colleagues, you play an important role in the timely and accurate follow-up of the various files.
What can you expect in your role as legal assistant :
- You are actively involved in corporate housekeeping (carrying out and following up UBO registration, KYC compliance questions, drawing up minutes and forms, (de)-registration KBO, following up publications in the Belgian Official Gazette, amendment of articles of association, etc.).
- Together with colleagues, you shape corporate governance (code of conduct, whistleblower legislation).
- You prepare, draft, translate, proofread and follow up basic legal documents (e.g. reports, records, etc.) in cooperation with and / or in support of the various departments.
- You manage digital applications such as electronic signatures.
- You are responsible for the optimisation of the legal (digital) database.
- Your tasks also include working out the GDPR legislation.
- You are back-up for the insurance files.
- You closely follow up the files of pending trademark applications.
- You participate in various projects and provide administrative-legal support where necessary.
