Our client, a leading semiconductor company, is seeking a highly skilled Design Technology Co-Optimization (DTCO) Engineer to join their dynamic team. As the DTCO Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the optimization of advanced process nodes, collaborating closely with the Fab, design, and product teams to define technology, identify optimization directions, and enhance the overall Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) of their products.
Role Description
The DTCO Engineer will be responsible for defining and optimizing process knobs, identifying process and design risks, and proposing mitigation or optimization strategies. They will also be tasked with defining device types and specifications, optimizing standard cell and SRAM architectures, and delivering corresponding Design Rule Manual (DRM) requirements. Additionally, the DTCO Engineer will be expected to identify process and design risks from various perspectives, including Optical Proximity Correction (OPC), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Reliability (DFR), and propose improvements.
