The Purpose :
Media Lead based in our EU HQ in Leuven, Belgium. Lead and mentor a team of two Media Managers to deliver your objectives in the market. Responsible for developing and implementing connections plans for our portfolio to deliver against the annual plan. Lead integration of connections with marketing & sales ensuring 3-Year Plans & 1-Year Plans are aligned with our strategy and drive the growth of the portfolio across channels. Manage the performance of connections channels to understand drivers of success.

The role :
Connections Strategy, Planning & Execution :
- Responsible for the strategic development and execution of the annual media plans for brands in scope .
- Partner with the brand, sales, insights, & innovation teams to develop best-in-class executions & campaigns.
- Spearhead implementation of ROI learnings to optimize media and drive business results
- Strategy development for 1- & 3-year plans that push the envelope and evolve how our brands connect with consumers.
- Implement local Test & Learn agenda, to respond to media developments with the market.
- Manage the media budget to plan with transparency and excellent financial control.
Stakeholder Management
Regular attendance at Execs and other meetings leading key connections discussions and influencing senior stakeholders.Sharing best practices & negotiating with global and zone brand teams & senior stakeholders.Lead the day-to-day management of the local media agency teams across France, Belgium & The Netherlands : key partners in helping us deliver continued excellence in media.Ability to build relationships and lead teams.Ability to influence cross-functional initiatives and the capability to persuade and influence to achieve excellent results.Who we’re looking for :
At least 5 years' experience in media planning & strategy, across both traditional & digital media channels.Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (written & verbal) criticalMust demonstrate analytical and strategic thinking.Proven to deliver challenging results and demonstration of project management and critical thinking.Proven knowledge of our business or clear aptitude to understand it.Deep understanding of the Consumer & Media landscape across Belgium, The Netherlands and / or France.Proven ability and build relationships and lead teams.Work with our analytics centre to implement ROI learnings to optimize our plans and deliver great results for our business.Ability to influence cross-functional initiatives and the capability to persuade and influence to achieve challenging results.Proven in simplifying complex processes, staying focused and disciplined Clear demonstration of thinking and acting as owner.Showcase excellent financial acumen and ability to manage large budgets.What you can expect from us :
