FunctieomschrijvingBuild, lead, and mentor a global team of process intensification experts (scientists & engineers). Provide technical guidance and coaching to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence. Identify, evaluate, and develop process intensification technologies that reduce energy consumption and CAPEX. Lead the design and improvement of critical process equipment (reactors, separation technologies, heat integration, etc.). Translate research insights into industrial solutions and future plant concepts. Ensure projects follow stringent process safety and engineering standards. Work closely with internal engineering teams, R&I groups, plant operations, and global business units. Collaborate with external partners such as universities, research centres, and technology suppliers. Drive cross‑functional decision‑making and communicate technical insights effectively. Oversee a portfolio of innovation and development projects in process intensification. Ensure technical milestones, timelines, and safety requirements are met. Contribute to building internal methodologies, best practices, and technical frameworks for process intensification. Promote knowledge sharing across global teams. PhD in Chemical Engineering (preferred), or Master's degree with 10-15 years of relevant experience . Strong experience in process intensification , equipment design, or advanced chemical process development. Experience in plant operations or scale‑up environments is a strong asset. Knowledge of hydrogen processes or intensification technologies is a plus. Minimum 1 year of people management experience (team leadership, coaching, or technical supervision). Professional proficiency in English (additional languages are an asset but not required) A competitive salary range, depending on experience.
