Java Developer

Location : Brussels, Belgium

Contract Type : Ongoing contract

Citizenship Requirement : EU Citizen

Language Requirements :

Fluency in English is mandatory.
French is an asset.
Documentation will be written in English.

Role Overview : Our client is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join their team in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java and related technologies, providing expert-level support to meet service requirements and adhere to the Service Level Agreement.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Java and related technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Mandatory Specific Expertise : Candidates must demonstrate the following expertise :

Java : At least 6 years of experience with Java.

Web Technologies : At least 2 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Angular : At least 2 years of experience with Angular (version 2 or later).

Spring Framework : At least 5 years of experience with the Spring framework.

JPA / Hibernate : At least 5 years of experience with JPA or Hibernate.

SQL : At least 5 years of experience with SQL.

Preferred Qualifications :

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills.

Experience working in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
