Ocean Coordinator

We are looking for a full time Ocean coordinator Import.

The Ocean Coordinator is responsible for processing import shipments while coordinating and maintain excellent customer service. The goal will be to achieve high accuracy through our global forwarding systems to ensure high productivity and operational excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling FCL /LCL inbound shipments into Europe
• Create / process Jobs in our Global Freight Management system
• Handle the day-to-day operations of the ocean department to ensure that customer requirements are met
• Responsible for reviewing all documents,
• Transfer / handle files to brokerage
• Processing shipments via Port and Client portals
• Arrange transport as per clients’ requirements
• Notify exceptions to clients and management
• Demurrage / Dentention management
• Responsible for correct and accurate communication and instructions to our vendors
• Other duties as assigned by management
