For the maintenance department of our client located in Grimbergen, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work rotating shifts (6:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00).
This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to repair requests.
Your main responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician:
- Maintain and repair automated systems as needed
- Perform maintenance and repairs on lift trucks
- Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance on all equipment and installations
- Service and maintain order pickers, reach trucks, and combi trucks
Functie-eisen
The Maintenance Technician we are looking for possesses the following qualities:
- Engineering background
- Ability to work rotating shifts (6h-14h and 14h-22h)
- Hands-on and dynamic approach
- Precision and results-oriented mindset
- Takes initiative and assumes responsibility
- Team player who can also work independently
- Preferably experienced in welding
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- Salary: €20.49 per hour
- Shift premiums of 10% (rotating shifts)
- Meal vouchers: €7 per day
- Transport allowance: 100% reimbursement for public transport
