As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Marketing & Communication Officer who is passionate about transforming scientific expertise into clear, impactful, and customer-focused content.

You will turn strategic direction into high-quality marketing and communication materials, supporting our commercial efforts and strengthening our brand. You will play a key role in ensuring consistency across all channels while equipping the sales team with practical, effective tools.

Your Key Responsibilities:

· Develop, produce, and maintain a comprehensive range of scientific and marketing materials, including product documentation, brochures, presentations, and training content

· Translate complex scientific and technical information into clear, structured, and customer-oriented communication adapted to different audiences

· Support commercial performance by developing value propositions, scientific selling arguments, and competitive positioning analyses

· Execute marketing plans and contribute to product launches in alignment with defined strategic objectives

· Plan, coordinate, and manage events and promotional activities, including congresses, trade shows, webinars, and related logistics

· Contribute to the implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital platforms, including website, email, and social media

· Manage and continuously update the company’s digital presence, ensuring relevance and consistency of content

· Ensure alignment of all communication materials with brand guidelines, validated product claims, and applicable regulatory requirements

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and relevant scientific developments, and provide structured insights to support strategic decision-making

· Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Scientific teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and relevance of all materials

· Operate with a high level of autonomy while ensuring effective prioritization, organization, and coordination of internal and external stakeholders

LaCAR is a fast-growing biotech company developing, producing, and commercializing CE-IVD diagnostic kits for (pharmaco) genetics and newborn screening. Our headquarters are located in the Liège Science Park (Belgium), and we serve customers worldwide.

Who Are We Looking For?

· You hold a Master’s degree (or higher) in life sciences, biomedical sciences, chemistry, bioengineering, or marketing in a scientific environment.

· You’re comfortable diving into scientific literature and turning complex information into clear, impactful messages.

· You have strong writing and editing skills in English.

· You understand the fundamentals of marketing (segmentation, positioning, messaging, value proposition) and know how to apply them in practice.

· You can create structured, compelling content with a clear business objective.

· You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to keep things on track.

· You can juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· You’re hands-on with marketing tools (PowerPoint, CRM, email tools, basic analytics, Canva/InDesign or similar).

· You have a solid understanding of digital channels (website, LinkedIn, email campaigns).

· You are reliable, pragmatic, and results-driven.

· You communicate clearly and enjoy working with different teams.

· You thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and like getting things done.
