Technical Specialist (TES) – EU Environment
📍 Brussels, Belgium
🏢 Customer: European External Action Service (EEAS)
Are you a hands-on IT support professional with strong technical troubleshooting skills and a customer-oriented mindset? We are currently looking for several Technical Specialists (TES) to support a high-profile European institution environment within the EEAS.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting workstation environments, peripherals, cabling, and end-user applications while ensuring a high-quality service delivery experience.
Your Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, peripherals, and cabling
- Support workstation environments (Windows 10 and above)
- Execute patching and temporary fixes to maintain security and operational continuity
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, IP addresses, and asset information
- Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify technical issues
- Work closely with end users and customer stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of incidents
- Contribute to incident, problem, change, and configuration management processes
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in workstation and peripheral support/administration
- In-depth knowledge of Windows 10 and newer environments
- Good understanding of:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Configuration Management
- Familiarity with patch management and IPAM systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and in a structured manner
- Accurate, reliable, and service-oriented mindset
Language Requirements
- English: C1 minimum
- French: C1 minimum
(Both written and spoken communication are mandatory for this assignment.)

- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Windows 10 MCSA
- Google IT Support Professional Certificate
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)
- IT Helpdesk Professional certification
- Advanced Windows Troubleshooting for IT
- Call Centre Associate Certified
- Certified Network Cabling Design Professional (CNSDP)
