As a Product Specialist, you develop and manage a customer portfolio across Belgium, with a broader scope across the Belux. In this versatile role, you combine field presence, technical support, administrative follow-up and internal coordination, with a solution-oriented approach in an SME environment where flexibility, team spirit and service orientation are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients in Belgium, mainly within the laboratory sector, ensuring a trusted relationship and high-quality commercial follow-up.
- Identify new commercial opportunities with existing clients and new accounts, through a mainly farmer-oriented approach with a targeted share of prospecting.
- Understand the technical and operational needs of clients in order to propose tailored solutions aligned with their field constraints and diagnostic challenges.
- Present, explain and promote products and solutions to users and technical stakeholders, using an educational and solution-oriented approach.
- Provide first-level technical support as well as client support and training in the use of the equipment and solutions offered.
- Contribute to the proper administrative and operational follow-up of the activity, including the management of offers, client files, orders, reporting and the rigorous use of the ERP/CRM.
- Actively contribute to the company’s visibility and market positioning through communication initiatives, content creation and the promotion of solutions on the market.
- Work closely with internal teams in an SME spirit, bringing flexibility, cross-functional support and concrete involvement in collective success.
PROFILE:
- You have at least 5 years of B2B sales experience in a pharmaceutical, medical laboratory, diagnostics or IVD environment.
- You are able to engage credibly with scientific and technical stakeholders and explain solutions in a clear and educational way.
- You enjoy versatile roles and SME structures, where flexibility, mutual support and service orientation are essential.
- You are not afraid of being in the field or of getting hands-on with equipment when the situation requires it.
- You have a good understanding of quality and regulatory environments, particularly ISO and IVDR.
- You are autonomous, pragmatic and solution-oriented, and believe that success is built as a team.
- You speak fluent Dutch and have a good command of English. Good knowledge of French is a plus.
