Are you ready to join us?

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Play an active role in the improvement of the financial and business reporting processes
• Participate in the yearly budgeting process and the monthly follow-up of actuals .
• Understand, challenge and communicate the monthly results with stakeholders & management across our international sites, ensuring alignment between local and group-level reporting
• Project / Cost controlling and monitoring including profitability calculations as well as ensuring the billing and margin recognition of all projects in due time
• Follow-up KPI’s production
• Support the preparation of the annual financial accounts & audit process
• Assist the head of controlling in the preparation of monthly performance reports for the ExCom
• Analyze investment requests and advise on CAPEX/OPEX approvals
• Act as a true business partner: advise operational and international teams on key financial and strategic issues, and make proactive recommendations to optimize business performance

Your Profile :

• Master’s degree in finance or economics
• At least 5 years of experience in business controlling; 10 years of overall experience in an industrial environment is strongly preferred
• Proven experience in industrial controlling within an international environment, with a strong track record in business partnering across cross-functional and multinational teams
• Strong financial skills (general accounting principles in BEGAAP, cost accounting, financial analysis…)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex financial models) — a core requirement for this role; good knowledge of PowerPoint
• Ideally, the knowledge of reporting tools, such as Power BI
• Ideally, the knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge in French, Dutch and English.
• Highly autonomous and self-driven: able to manage priorities independently, take initiative and deliver results with minimal supervision
• Analytical and curious mind
• Team player, assertive, strong in communication, proactive and stress-resistant
