Temporary Finance Assistant

We are currently looking for a Temporary Finance Assistant to support the team throughout August and ensure the smooth running of ongoing financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on sales invoices and credit notes (invoice creation handled via CRM)
• Ensure accurate monitoring and maintenance of the accounts receivable (aged balance)
• Prepare documentation for foreign VAT declarations
• Support financial reporting for external tax consultants
• Contribute to the smooth execution of daily financial operations
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners in an international environment

Our client is an international non-profit organisation operating in the scientific sector, with teams across multiple countries. The Brussels office works closely with other entities to ensure efficient and structured financial and administrative processes.

• Degree in accounting or finance (e.g. EPHEC or equivalent)
• Initial experience in finance/accounting is an asset
• Fast learner with a proactive mindset
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Knowledge of Dynamics and/or Business Central is a strong plus
• Previous experience with ESTRO is an advantage
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and reliability

• Temporary assignment in an international and collaborative environment
• Period: from 03/08/2026 to 04/09/2026
• Salary: approximately €3,000 gross/month
