Key Responsibilities
Operate production equipment (extruders, cutting machines, weaving machines) according to work instructions to meet daily production targets
Load raw materials, transport semi-finished products, perform packaging and warehousing of finished goods
Visually inspect products for defects and report abnormalities
Maintain a clean and safe work area, follow 5S and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) rules
Perform basic daily checks and minor maintenance on machines
Assist with line changeovers and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
Must-have:
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar hands-on/technical role (any industry accepted)
Willingness to work in shifts (early, late, or night, as per factory schedule)
Basic quality and safety awareness
Ability to read simple work instructions (French, Dutch, or English – any one is acceptable; if none, willingness to learn basic terms)
Physically capable of repetitive tasks and handling materials weighing 15–25 kg
Nice-to-have:
Forklift or overhead crane license
Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Conversational French or Dutch
Valid work permit / long-term residency in Belgium
