Your role as a Business Architect
- As a Business Architect, you help shape the future direction of the organisation by translating strategic ambitions into actionable business capabilities, transformation initiatives, and operating model decisions.
- You develop and maintain a holistic view of the enterprise, understanding how strategy, capabilities, processes, organisation, and technology collectively create value. By identifying interdependencies and assessing enterprise-wide impacts, you challenge assumptions, evaluate strategic options, and provide fact-based recommendations that help leadership maximise strategic outcomes and avoid local optimisation.
- You bridge strategy and execution by translating business priorities into capability maps, process landscapes, governance structures, operating model designs, and transformation roadmaps. You provide a structured blueprint for how the organisation should evolve to achieve its strategic objectives.
- You monitor whether transformation initiatives continue to support the intended strategic outcomes, identifying misalignments, emerging gaps, dependencies, and changing circumstances. You advise leadership on corrective actions, strategic adjustments, and priority decisions needed to maximise value delivery.
- You build strong relationships with our Architecture Steering team as well as our People Steering team to obtain one shared business capability framework that supports our business leaders in their strategic questions.
- As a trusted stakeholder partner, you align senior leaders, challenge constructively, and translate complex topics into clear narratives and visuals. Acting as a bridge between business, IT, and operations, you facilitate collaboration and enable effective decision-making across domains.
- You establish frameworks, guardrails, and governance structures that ensure consistency, reuse, and long-term sustainability. You actively collaborate with process owners, architects, and transformation leads, coaching teams towards a more structured way of working.
Our ideal candidate
- You bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Management, or leading transformation initiatives.

-
You are able to perform impact assessments, define actionable transformation initiatives, and drive enterprise-wide change through a collaborative mindset.
