Your mission

• Linked to the overall marketing strategy & business objectives and in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing develop and manage the owned social media strategy for the entire organisation.
• Translate this social media strategy into a social media annual plan creating the right frequency across channels communication objectives and brand content themes in line with the overall brand communication strategy and plan.
• Work as part of the content team and align on the planning and creation of content to post on social media channels. Contribute to the more global development of impactful brand content that supports the brand & marketing strategy and ensure that content developed from an owned social perspective is also widely shared across other channels to optimise impact.
• Execute the social media strategy by posting content on our various social media channels ensuring aligned and cohesive communication and moderating interactions. As the sole person authorised to post maintain high standards and consistency.
• Integrate agility in the social media plan to ensure the school maximises the opportunities for impactful communication in line with the marketing strategy.
• Develop strong relationships and stimulate a strong community of social ambassadors across alumni faculty & employees that can be leveraged for content creation and developing reach and impact.
• Follow up on and report on social media metrics analysing performance data to optimise strategies and demonstrate the impact of social media activities.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in the social media landscape brand storytelling & content marketing ensuring our strategies remain competitive and effective.
• Be part of the Central Marketing team and report directly to the Head of Marketing.

You

• Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in social media marketing and management in line with overall brand and marketing objectives.
• Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in creating and managing high-quality engaging (dynamic) content for various social media platforms but also for other channels with a focus on visual and video content.
• Have strong analytical skills to interpret social media metrics evaluate performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Are capable of managing multiple social media activities and workflows simultaneously and meeting short deadlines.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders ensuring alignment towards common goals and cohesive efforts.
• Have an excellent written and verbal knowledge of English.
• Are flexible to work on our two campuses (Ghent and Brussels) in combination with your home office.
