Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end accountability for Legal & Integrity fiduciary duties
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on governance, compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic legal matters
  • Monitor legal affairs including litigations and activity reports
  • Oversee integrity investigations and ensure alignment with internal audit, HSE, and risk management standards
  • Provide expert counsel on contracts and collaborate on specialized topics

Requirements

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) as a qualified lawyer in Belgium or the Netherlands
  • LLM or equivalent degree from a recognized university
  • Expertise in contract review, drafting, negotiation, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate secretarial duties
  • Proven track record in driving compliance with GDPR and corporate governance
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple high-priority projects
  • Outstanding communication skills in English, Dutch, and French
