Senior Java Full Stack Developer Brussels Belgium On-Site Contract

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join Agile development teams working on a large-scale digital transformation programme. You will contribute to the development enhancement and maintenance of business-critical applications while collaborating closely with product owners analysts and fellow developers.

The successful candidate will thrive in an Agile environment and have strong expertise in Java Spring Angular and modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop maintain and enhance enterprise web applications
  • Design and implement scalable backend services using Java and Spring
  • Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular and Bootstrap
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum Sprint Planning Reviews Retrospectives)
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Write high-quality testable and maintainable code
  • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to technical improvements
  • Troubleshoot debug and optimize existing applications
  • Contribute to software architecture and technical design discussions
