Role Overview

Are you a visionary ready to take ownership of a global brands social presence We are looking for a Global Social Media Expert to maximize the value of our social this role you wont just manage accountsyou will own the vision design the roadmap and drive the implementation of our global social media footprint.

We have a strong foundation on LinkedIn Facebook and Instagram which we want you to continuously improve and leverage. And we want you to look ahead. You will be the strategic mind that analyzes recommends and executes our expansion into new frontiers like YouTube TikTok and Reddit. Your Role and Responsibilities

Community Engagement

• Monitor social media conversations related to the company across all active platforms.

• Use social listening tools to identify industry trends and brand sentiment

• Engage with our online community by responding to inquiries comments and messages in a timely brand-consistent manner.

• Act as the first in line of defense in identifying potential brand reputation risks or crises on social channels coordinating swiftly with the Corporate Communications Manager

• Utilize social media management tools (e.g. Sproutsocial) to maintain a consistent active and responsive online presence.

Reporting Insights & Recommendations

• Monitor key social media performance metrics including engagement rates follower growth conversion and impressions.

• Prepare regular reports that translate data into actionable insights for the Corporate Communications Manager and executive leadership.

• Stay ahead of social media trends algorithm updates and industry best practices to continuously optimize channel performance.

TVH Content Creation & Posting

• Develop schedule and post high-quality engaging content (text images and short-form video) tailored to each platform. You work together with our internal creative operations team to create compelling content.

• Ensure all content aligns with TVHs broader communications strategy and enhances global brand positioning.

• Maintain a robust organized content calendar using scheduling and automation tools.

Expert Advice to Marketing & Employer Branding Teams

• Act as the internal consultant and subject matter expert for various marketing and HR/employer branding team and regional teams

• Collaborate across departments to align social media activities with broader corporate campaigns. Ensure that organic content closely syncs with paid media/performance marketing strategies.

• Provide proactive guidance best practices and creative ideas to help internal teams maximize the reach and impact of their specific initiatives through social media.

Analyze Recommend & Implement Strategic Projects

• Own the long-term vision and roadmap for TVHs social media landscape.

• Conduct deep-dive analysis on potential new channelsspecifically formulating strategic recommendations on if when and how we should launch on YouTube TikTok and Reddit.

• Establish global social media governance guidelines and frameworks to ensure consistency.

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of approved strategic projects from initial setup and governance to launch and audience building.

• Strategic Vision & Roadmap Design: Ability to look at the big picture identify market opportunities and build a concrete execution plan for new and existing platforms.

• B2B mindset: deep understanding of the B2B landscape with the creative ability to make complex industrial topics engaging and accessible.

• Independent Content Creation: next to the availability of our internal creative team we expect you to have skills in copywriting smartphone videography and video editing for any last-minute requests or changes.

• Cross-Departmental Stakeholder Management: A collaborative consultative approach to advising and influencing Marketing HR and Corporate Communications teams.

• Platform Expertise & Growth Mindset: Deep understanding of current algorithms (LinkedIn FB IG) and a strong curiosity/knowledge base for emerging platforms (TikTok Reddit YouTube).

• Data Literacy & Impact tracking: Ability to look beyond vanity metrics to extract meaningful business insights and ROI from data.

How to Succeed / Your Profile

• Education: Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing Public Relations or a related field.

• Experience: 4 years of experience in social media management with a proven track record of shifting from execution to channel strategy and ownership ideally within an international B2B or corporate environment

• Project Launch Experience: Experience launching corporate brands onto new platforms (e.g. building a YouTube or TikTok strategy from scratch) is highly valued.

• Tool Proficiency: Expertise in social media management tools (Sproutsocial etc.) and analytics platforms.

• Languages: excellent written and spoken English required (as you will own global channels). Knowledge of Dutch is preferable. Other European languages are a strong asset.

• Mindset: A proactive self-starter who is comfortable pitching new ideas to leadership and managing multiple strategic priorities independently.
