Daily Site Management : Plan, oversee, and coordinate steel construction activities to ensure smooth operations. Team & Subcontractor Supervision: Manage subcontractors and in-house teams to maintain construction efficiency and quality. Safety Compliance & Inspections: Enforce construction site safety regulations, conduct audits, and ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Project Progress Monitoring: Track construction milestones, address delays, and provide updates to the project manager.

Material & Equipment Coordination: Ensure timely availability of steel materials, tools, and heavy machinery for seamless execution. Quality Control & Compliance: Verify that work meets steel fabrication standards and resolve any quality concerns. Site Organization & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, structured, and safe construction site, ensuring proper site closure. Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution: Identify and address on-site construction challenges to avoid project delays.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily construction logs, complete risk assessments, and oversee work permits. At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role on construction sites, ideally within the steel industry or a related field, with hands-on experience in leading and managing subcontractor teams. Comprehensive expertise in construction workflows and steel structure work, with a particular focus on reading and interpreting plans and executing construction guidelines.
Skilled in performing site measurements and efficiently relaying this information to the project manager. Proven ability to lead and manage multiple teams and coordinate various disciplines on-site. Strong command of safety protocols (e.G., VCA) and hands-on experience ensuring safety compliance on construction sites. Outstanding at organizing and planning, ensuring smooth project flow and adherence to timelines. A solution-oriented mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to tackling issues.
Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with varied teams and external stakeholders. Languages: Fluent in English (both verbal and written);
proficiency in Dutch and French is a plus. Able to communicate seamlessly with subcontractors.
