Technical documentation specialist

Your role

Within our Industrial Data Solutions (IDS) division, we are looking for a Technical Documentation Specialist to help create outstanding customer-facing documentation and learning materials for our industrial connectivity and automation solutions.

As a Technical Documentation Specialist, you will help bridge the gap between technology and people.

You enjoy understanding how things work, testing products, exploring new features and turning technical information into content that is easy to understand and enjoyable to use.

Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Technical Services teams, you will gain hands-on experience with our industrial connectivity and automation solutions and help customers get the most out of our products through clear documentation, videos, tutorials and other learning materials.

Your responsibilities

Get hands-on with the technology

• Install, configure, test and take apart our products (hardware and software) to fully understand how they work.
• Explore new features and dig into the technical detail behind them, including networking and connectivity aspects.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management and Technical Services teams to validate technical accuracy.

Turn it into content

• Create, update and publish customer-facing documentation, including installation guides, user manuals, technical articles and onboarding content.
• Transform complex technical concepts into simple, practical and user-friendly content.
• Create engaging support materials such as videos, tutorials, product walkthroughs and interactive demonstrations.
• Experiment with new documentation methods, multimedia tools and AI-powered solutions to make technical information more accessible.
• Take ownership of your content and continuously look for ways to improve the customer learning experience.
• Support product launches by ensuring customers have the information they need to be successful from day one.

Your profile

Background

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Automation or Electromechanics.

Technical Skills

• Real hands-on affinity with technology: you like to open things up, tinker, and understand how hardware, software and networks work together.
• Comfortable with, or curious about, networking and connectivity fundamentals (this is an industrial connectivity product line).
• Experience in technical writing or documentation is a plus, but not a requirement, what matters is your ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools; experience with documentation platforms such as Paligo is a plus.
• Genuine interest in video creation, e-learning, multimedia content or AI-based tools.
• Excellent written English.
