About the Role As Controls Engineer you will design, develop and validate the control strategies of our innovative hybrid transmission. It has a modular design with variants that are suitable for mild-, plug-in and full hybrid vehicles. Your expertise will contribute to cutting-edge SW solutions within the automotive industry, ensuring compliance with functional-, performance- and safety standards. Responsibilities: - You will join a team of >20 controls engineers that develop the controls software for our hybrid product line. - The controls software is developed according to the Model Based Development process (V-cycle) with Simulink. You will work on the design and validation of specific functions or modules in the application software, e.g. driving strategy, coordination, clutch- or gear actuation, diagnostics, functional safety. - You will be involved in every step of the software development V-cycle for the functions that you are working on, i.e. defining the requirements (in alignment with the customer), designing the control strategies, implementing them in Simulink, verifying them in a simulation environment (MiL) and supporting the validation on other test platforms (HiL, test bench, vehicle). - You will work together closely with different internal stakeholders (system engineering team, functional validation & performance team, ESW team, testing team and simulation team) contributing to the realization of new powertrain technologies and products.
