The Product Manager will translate scientific and clinical information into clear commercial strategies, ensuring our products are positioned, communicated, and adopted across the market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product and brand strategies for the Belgian market, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and commercial priorities.
• Own the lifecycle management and commercial development of the assigned product portfolio, identifying opportunities to maximise product performance, growth and patient access.
• Develop and implement effective marketing and communication plans in partnership with the Country Manager and relevant cross-functional teams.
• Provide scientific and medical leadership to the Sales team, ensuring representatives have the knowledge, confidence and tools required to communicate product value to healthcare professionals effectively.
• Lead market analysis and identify emerging trends, customer needs, competitive developments and commercial opportunities to inform business and brand strategy.
• Drive market access activities, supporting pricing, reimbursement and access strategies to facilitate patient access and optimise product adoption.
• Develop strong and credible relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals and other influential stakeholders across the Belgian market.
• Translate complex scientific and clinical data into clear, compelling and compliant commercial messages, presentations and promotional materials.
• Lead the development, validation and ongoing management of marketing materials, sales tools and other product communication resources.
• Work closely with the sales force in the field, providing scientific support during customer visits and helping translate strategy into effective customer engagement.
• Deliver high-quality scientific presentations, clinical education sessions and product training to healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain close collaboration with internal teams and Pharmanovia's business partners to ensure effective product planning, supply, communication and commercial execution.
• Monitor product performance and provide regular insights and recommendations to the Country Manager and wider leadership team.
• Represent Pharmanovia at national and international scientific congresses, conferences and relevant industry events.
• Maintain a strong understanding of relevant therapeutic areas, scientific developments, regulatory requirements and competitive activity.

Qualifications

• Essential: Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine or a related scientific discipline. Strong scientific understanding relevant to pharmaceutical products and healthcare.
• Desirable: Degree or additional qualification in Business Management, Marketing or a related commercial discipline. PhD in Life Sciences or a related scientific field.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare or life sciences industry.
• Proven experience in Product Management, Brand Management, Medical Affairs, Marketing or a closely related pharmaceutical role.
• Experience translating scientific and clinical information into clear commercial and customer-facing messages.
• Experience working closely with Sales teams and supporting commercial execution.
• Experience developing product, brand or marketing strategies.
• Experience analysing markets, competitors and customer needs.
• Experience developing and delivering product or scientific training.
• Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and matrix environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within one or more of the following therapeutic areas: CNS / Pain, Oncology, Cardiology / Cardiovascular, Endocrinology, Autoimmune diseases.
• Previous experience with market access, pricing and reimbursement.
• Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders and specialist healthcare professionals.
• Experience within speciality pharmaceuticals, established brands or niche medicines.
• Experience working with external distributors or pharmaceutical business partners.
