About the role

Antwerp, Limburg and Flemish Brabant is your territory and it is yours to grow. As an Account Manager, you take full ownership of the region and its revenue target, becoming the trusted partner our laboratory customers rely on. You will manage a portfolio of multiple accounts, nurturing the relationships already in place while actively hunting for new business. It is a role for someone who enjoys being on the road, closing deals, and shaping how a growing market develops.

This position reports to the Sales Manager and works closely with our Marketing team. This is a field-based role: you can expect to travel around 70 - 80% of the time across your area.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and expand relationships across a portfolio of accounts and growing the area revenue
• Prospect and win new clients within the laboratory sector, selling our range of lab chemicals
• Plan and conduct regular customer visits across Antwerp, Limburg and Flemish Brabant region
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, negotiate contracts and pricing, and participate in tenders
• Share market insight and customer feedback with the Sales Manager to shape our commercial approach

You bring:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Previous experience in a commercial, sales, or account management role is a nice-to-have, but not a prerequisite.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills, with a proactive and customer-focused mindset.
• Native fluency in Flemish/Dutch and professional proficiency in English.
• Living in or close to the region where the customer base is located.
• A valid driving licence and a willingness to travel extensively across the region.
