As a warehouse associate your responsibilities are;

Receiving biohazard products (blood bags, viral vectors, …) in a controlled temperature environment.

Accurately process inventory receipts ensuring correct matching to purchase orders, documentation of approvals, quality checks and adherence to policies.

Working with equipment and material stored at cryogenic

Fill out the Master Inspection Checks (MIC) for incoming materials including: transport unloading, temperature control, integrity control, administrative paperwork related to following correct procedures.

Fill in forms & logbooks related to receiving, picking and outbound activities to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) policies in the pharmaceutical environment.

Work closely together with the Operations and Quality department to support the Production and Lab activities for our start-up site.

Work in a clean environment where you will wear dedicated gowning clothes.

Working in two SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to process inbound, picking and outbound activities.

Collaborate with accounting, suppliers and business stakeholders in support of on-going operational efficiency efforts.

At Legend Biotech in Zwijnaarde, you will have the opportunity to participate in the production of advanced CAR-T cell therapies, an innovative form of cancer treatment. You will work in a highly technological GMP-regulated environment.

• Working daily in a Class A/B/C/D cleanroom environment
• Ensuring the cleanliness of equipment and production areas

Performing various steps within the CAR-T manufacturing process, including:

• Cell isolation
• Cell selection, activation, and transduction
• Cell culture
• Aseptic processing
• Filling and finishing operations
• Cryopreservation

Manufacturing clinical and commercial ATMPs (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products)

• Adhering to all applicable quality and safety standards

Performing in-process controls on batch samples while maintaining the highest quality standards

Strictly following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), batch records, and GMP guidelines

• Recording and managing GMP documentation to ensure compliance and traceability

Supporting environmental monitoring and the maintenance of GMP production areas

At its Ghent facility, Legend Biotech focuses on the manufacturing of advanced CAR-T cell therapies for the treatment of multiple myeloma.

Who are you?

You are a detail-oriented team player who enjoys working in an innovative manufacturing environment.

You have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or an equivalent field
• Initial experience with cell culture
• Experience in a GMP environment and/or ATMP manufacturing is a strong asset
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to work in a shift-based system
• A hands-on mentality and strong attention to detail
