About the Role

Are you a dynamic marketing communications professional looking to make a substantial impact on one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands? Ford Belgium is seeking a passionate, results-driven Marketing Communications Manager to lead and elevate our 360-degree brand, media, and event strategies across Belgium and Luxembourg.

In this high-visibility position reporting directly to the Managing Director and sitting on the local Management Team, you will oversee the marketing budget and you will lead our marketing communications operations to champion both Passenger Vehicles (PV) and Commercial Vehicles (CV), translating European brand vision into high-impact local campaigns, robust lead generation, and flagship event activations.

Key Responsibilities

• Media Strategy & Campaign Execution: Lead end-to-end media planning, media buying, and execution across Above-The-Line (ATL) and Below-The-Line (BTL) channels, driving brand awareness, retail traffic, and digital lead generation.
• Agency & Partner Steering: Steer creative and media agencies (including Ogilvy Social Lab, Mindshare, and event partners), ensuring brand consistency, campaign performance, and ROI.
• Flagship Event Management: Take end-to-end ownership of major national events and activations—most notably leading Ford’s presence at the Brussels Motor Show (from autumn preparation through January execution), national product launches, test-drive roadshows, and dealer conventions.
• Digital & Website Ecosystem: Oversee national and dealer website platforms, ensuring seamless digital customer journeys, effective integration of central European assets, and optimized lead capture mechanisms.
• Budget Management & Financial Governance: Manage the annual marketing budget with full accountability: forecasting, purchase order management, supplier negotiations, accruals, and month-end financial reviews in close coordination with European Finance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Dealer Relations: Partner closely with Passenger Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle Directors, Fleet Manager, and European central marketing teams. Act as the primary communications bridge to the Ford dealer network.
• Team Coordination & Leadership: Direct and guide a team of 2 dedicated specialists (Website Specialist and Marketing Assistant), fostering an agile, proactive, and collaborative operational rhythm.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a high-potential, agile marketing professional with a solid track record in communications and media, eager to take ownership of a broad portfolio and grow within Ford.

• Professional Background: Demonstrated experience in marketing communications, media planning/buying, lead generation, or event management. Automotive industry experience is appreciated but not mandatory.
• Seniority & Mindset: strong foundational expertise, high learning agility, and ambition to grow into broader leadership responsibilities. Pragmatic, hands-on, and curious.
• Language Proficiency: Trilingual fluency is essential: fluent in Dutch/Flemish, French, and English (written and verbal).
• Commercial & Analytical Acumen: Comfortable working with numbers, managing large marketing budgets, analyzing campaign ROI/metrics, and making data-informed decisions.
• Stakeholder & Negotiation Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, align external agency partners, and negotiate effectively with suppliers.
• Digital & Systems Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with enterprise tools (such as SAP Ariba, iProof, or CMS platforms) is a definite plus.
