STRATEGY & TRANSFORMATION MANAGER

Purpose:

Work closely with the CEO, MD Headquarters and other members of Top Management to turn strategic priorities into structured plans, well-managed projects and tangible business outcomes across the Group.

Acts as a project manager and internal transformation partner to support execution of key strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities:

Executive Support and Strategic Analysis

• Support the CEO and Top Management in strategic planning and decision-making
• Conduct analyses on market trends, competitive positioning and business performance
• Prepare high-quality materials for Executive Management and Board discussions
• Translate complex topics into clear recommendations and actionable insights

Transformation and Change Leadership Support

• Support the design and execution of cross-functional transformation initiatives
• Track progress of key strategic programmes and identify risks or bottlenecks
• Contribute to shaping change approaches and stakeholder communication
• Ensure alignment across functions and geographies

Strategic Projects and Programme Management

• Lead or support the coordination and execution of high-priority strategic projects across the Group, working with relevant functional experts and external advisors where required
• Act as project manager, ensuring structure, pace and delivery discipline
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external advisors where relevant
• Monitor outcomes and ensure follow-through on agreed actions

Corporate Development and M&A Support

• Support evaluation of growth opportunities, partnerships and acquisitions
• Contribute to financial and strategic analysis of potential transactions
• Assist in due diligence processes and coordination with internal teams and advisors
• Support integration planning and post-deal tracking where applicable

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Act as a bridge between Top Management and business functions
• Ensure consistency in messaging, priorities and execution across initiatives
• Support preparation and follow-up of key management meetings

Desired candidate profile:

• University degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Management or a related discipline.
• Experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, transformation, project management, PMO or a comparable strategic role.
• Proven project management experience, with the ability to structure, coordinate and drive complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, functions and external advisors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear recommendations, business cases and actionable plans.
• Experience preparing high-quality management presentations, Board materials, business cases and executive decision papers.
• Exposure to strategic planning, transformation programmes, organisational change initiatives or performance improvement projects.
• Exposure to corporate development or M&A activities, including market assessments, due diligence support or post-merger integration initiatives, is considered an advantage.
• Strong planning, organisation and follow-through skills, with the ability to track actions, challenge delays and maintain momentum across multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience engaging with senior stakeholders, Top Management and Board-level audiences.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages (German and/or Dutch) are considered an advantage.
• Highly structured, intellectually curious and comfortable working in an environment with changing priorities and diverse business topics.
• Strong balance of strategic thinking and operational execution, with a willingness to take ownership and deliver tangible outcomes.
• Collaborative and influential, able to build effective relationships across functions, geographies and cultures.
• Hands-on, proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently and manage several priorities simultaneously.
