Back Office Officer

As part of the continued growth of our company, we are currently looking for a Back Office Officer to strengthen our team in Antwerp. You will be responsible for the processing and booking of investment transactions, their administrative and tax follow-up, as well as the monitoring of positions, cash flows and reconciliations with banks and counterparties. Book investment transactions executed on behalf of clients; Check the consistency of booked transactions against information received from intermediaries and counterparties; Monitor securities positions and cash movements related to transactions; Perform reconciliations between internal data and bank/counterparty statements and confirmations, and identify any discrepancies; Monitor the settlement of transactions and ensure that any discrepancies or exceptions are properly investigated and resolved; Process and monitor corporate actions, including dividends, coupons, redemptions, stock splits, etc.; Participate in the preparation and review of operational and financial reports for internal teams and/or clients; Maintain client data and files in relation to transactions and contribute to data quality within our systems; Collaborate with the Front Office, Finance, Compliance and Risk teams, as well as with banks and other external partners; Contribute to the continuous improvement of Back Office processes, controls and procedures; Work closely with the Belgian Back Office team Ad hoc responsibilities Handle, redirect and follow up on incoming phone calls and emails; Welcome visitors and provide reception support; Prepare and follow up on client payment orders; Carry out various organisational and administrative tasks, including updating procedures and preparing tax certificates, certificates of ownership, etc. You have a relevant secondary or higher education qualification and experience in a similar role. Previous experience in the banking sector would be an advantage; You are versatile, autonomous and proactive; You have excellent command of MS Office; You have strong organisational skills, a good sense of priorities and a keen eye for detail; You have excellent written and verbal communication skills; You are fluent in Dutch and English.
