Every company solves a problem. We use AI and data to find the companies in pain, and we build the GTM systems that reach them with the one message they cannot ignore.

Crumbs is a GTM engineering (and Clay) partner for B2B companies. We build, test and scale outbound systems on triggers, buyer intelligence and pain signals. Clay is our engine, Claude Code is our second engine, and we cover the whole chain: market research, ICP work, messaging, campaign operations and reporting.

Companies like ML6, Donna, Cegeka, Peripass, rely on us to turn outbound into a channel they can forecast. We are a small senior team, and we are now building the layer above pure execution. This role is that layer.

The role, in two acts

Most agencies hire GTM engineers to build forever. We are not doing that.

Act 1, roughly your first 9 to 12 months. You are the builder. Clay, Claude Code, signals, campaigns, deliverability, reporting. You learn our machine by running it on real accounts, next to the people who built it.

Act 2. You move up the stack. You take a handful of accounts as their GTM strategist: you run the bi-weekly syncs and the quarterly business reviews, you defend the numbers, you spot the next play before the client asks for it, and you own renewal and expansion. The building moves to the operators next to you. You become the person who decides what gets built and why.

We are explicit about this because we hire for act 2. If you want to build tables forever, or if you want to talk strategy without ever having built one, this is not your role (however, we're also looking for that in a different role).

What you do in act 1

• Build Clay tables that hold up: waterfalls, Claygent, signal logic, HTTP and API columns, exclusion and suppression that actually works.
• Turn signals into campaigns that get replies: job changes, hiring, funding, tenders, tech installs, product launches.
• Run outbound in Lemlist, HeyReach and Smartlead: sequences, sender rotation, deliverability, list hygiene.
• Work in Claude Code every day. We run our own skills for audits, reply analysis, client reporting and campaign builds. You use them, then you make them better.
• Write copy that reads like a human who did the research, not a template with a merge tag.
• Report honestly: interested leads, meetings, pipeline, and a clear read on why something did not work.

What you own in act 2

• Customer accounts as their GTM strategist and main point of contact.
• The bi-weekly GTM sync and the quarterly business review, where you give the client their own business back and put the next proposal on the table.
• Renewal and expansion on your accounts, and the margin on them, not just the revenue.
• Briefing the operators who build behind you, and reviewing their work before it reaches a client.

Must have

• Clay. Non negotiable. You have built complex tables and you can walk us through one you are proud of, and through the one that broke.
• 2+ years building outbound or GTM systems, at an agency, in a scale-up, or as a freelancer.
• Commercial instinct. You understand why a message failed, not just that the reply rate dropped.
• You are in our Ghent office 2 to 3 days a week. This is a hard requirement, not a preference. At our size the learning happens in the same room. Fully remote applications will not be considered.
• Autonomy. You take a brief and ship without hand holding, and you say it out loud when something is not working.

Nice to have

• Claude Code, n8n, or any agentic workflow you have actually put into production.
• Deliverability depth: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, warm up, and why a domain died.
• A past life as an SDR, AE, growth marketer or founder. You know what it feels like to carry a number.
• Python or JavaScript at the level of "I can read the API docs and make the call". You do not need to be a developer.

This is not for you if

• You have never used Clay.
• You want to work fully remote.
• You want to stay hands on forever and never sit in front of a client.
• You need a detailed brief for every campaign.

What good looks like

• Month 3: you ship campaigns on your own accounts and nobody checks your tables line by line anymore.
• Month 6: a client asks a question in a sync, Ruben stays quiet, because your answer was the better one.
• Month 12: two accounts are yours end to end, and you have renewed one of them.
