For over 25 years, Unisensor has been a pioneer in diagnostic engineering of rapid testing solutions for food safety, Animal Health and CDMO supporting our vision of peace of mind in food. Our solutions are used on farms, in the food industry – primarily in the dairy sector, though not exclusively – and also in testing laboratories. To continue our expansion, we are looking for a(n):


(Junior) Benelux Sales Manager

Role and responsibilities


The Sales Manager is the business owner and drives all the operations in his/her territory to reach objectives, reporting to the Chief Business Officer.


Main responsibilities :

  • Lead market development initiatives and prioritize territories, segments and accounts according to growth potential;
  • Manage customer relationships and address first-level technical needs;
  • Define, monitor, and manage sales forecasts, pipeline health and performance using CRM and structured reporting;
  • Analyze market data, customer feedback and the competitive landscape to support strategic decisions;
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, R&D, regulatory and operations teams to support customer and market needs;
  • Create an effective and direct sales network in your territory;
  • Drive pricing discipline and actively protect margins in line with company objectives;
  • Connect with opinion leaders and contribute to building industry consensus;
  • Set up and implement the budget, taking all necessary actions accordingly.


Clear objectives will be defined for the first 6–12 months, focusing on pipeline build-up and revenue growth.

To be successful in this position, you will receive impactful technical tools and commercial support by our business units and by the marketing and corporate account team. The role includes significant autonomy.


Profile

You demonstrate a strong hunter mindset with proven ability to create and develop and monitor a sales pipeline.

You are comfortable working with sales forecasts, KPIs and CRM tools to steer performance.

You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for results, pricing and margins.

You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on execution style.

You are comfortable working autonomously in an international, agile and entrepreneurial Sales and technical environments.


Are you highly independent, self-driven, take the initiative, highly accountable and results driven? Do you translate business insights into targets? Are you free to travel min 50% of your time in your sales region? Are you an excellent communicator, an active listener, showing empathy? Are you creative and innovative, solutions-oriented mind? Then this job is yours.


Ideally, you have 2-3 years’ success in a sales position within the food diagnostics industry (e.g. dairy sector) or in a similar field.

You are holding a degree in science or engineering (e.g. bioengineering, veterinary, biochemistry, etc.) or can show equivalent acquired skills.


Additionally, you are native Dutch speaker, and you master at least one other language such as English and/or German. Knowledge of French is a plus. The position does not require to be based in Liège but suggests that at least 50 per cent of the time should be spent travelling
