European Treasury Manager | International Scope

Are you an experienced Treasury professional looking for a broader role with European exposure, strategic impact and real ownership?

For a confidential international group, we are looking for a European Treasury Manager to take responsibility for treasury activities across its European operations.

This is a senior position combining Treasury expertise, financing, financial risk management, transformation and team leadership, with direct exposure to senior stakeholders.

YOUR ROLE

Working closely with the Global Treasurer and Finance teams across Europe, you will take ownership of the regional Treasury function.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing cash, liquidity and cash flow forecasting across the European perimeter

• Managing and developing relationships with banks, lenders and credit insurers

• Overseeing bank accounts, credit facilities, guarantees and other treasury products

• Optimising working capital, credit and collection processes

• Developing and implementing appropriate financing solutions

• Managing financial risks related to FX, interest rates and energy

• Strengthening Treasury governance, controls and compliance

• Contributing to strategic financing, ERP and Treasury transformation projects

• Leading, coaching and developing the regional Treasury team

You will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Procurement, Sales and Operations, giving you broad exposure across the organisation.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

We are looking for an experienced Treasury professional who combines strong technical expertise with an analytical, entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset.

You ideally have:

• A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance or Commercial Banking

• Experience within a European or international environment

• Strong expertise in cash management, financing, banking relationships and financial risk management

• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills

• The ability to operate autonomously and interact confidently with senior stakeholders

Fluent Dutch is mandatory.

Fluent English is mandatory.

French is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Experience with SAP and/or a Treasury Management System is considered an asset.
