Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.

DENV is Daikin’s sales, R&D, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. The headquarter has Belgian offices in Brussels, Ghent and Ostend, as well as 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.

As Learning & Development Project Lead, you will design, develop and coordinate learning initiatives that strengthen service sales capabilities across Daikin EMEA. You will translate 2030 strategic targets into practical learning journeys, engaging content and scalable formats. Working with service subject-matter experts, affiliates and training colleagues, you will help build a structured L&D approach that enables people to grow their service knowledge, commercial capabilities and confidence.

Your initial focus will be on service sales and service managers, helping them build knowledge of value selling, customer engagement and service business development. Later, you will help extend service learning to non-service employees to create broader awareness of the role of service in Daikin’s future growth.

What you will do

• Identify learning needs related to service sales, service management and service business development.
• Design learning journeys that support the service capabilities needed to achieve 2030 strategic targets.
• Translate technical, commercial and strategic service knowledge into clear, practical learning content & toolkits together with subject-matter experts.
• Coordinate and facilitate selected trainings, workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions for key target groups.
• Support blended learning formats, including classroom, virtual, e-learning, peer learning, train-the-trainer and on-the-job application.
• Contribute to the further development of the Service L&D Academy, including governance, content standards, learning pathways and impact measurement.
• Work with affiliates to support local adoption across countries and maturity levels.
• Use the Learning Management System to organise, monitor and improve learning activities based on participation, feedback and outcomes.

Your profile

• You have a Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, Education, Business, Human Resources, Organisational Development or a related field.
• You have relevant experience in Learning & Development, training design, capability development or commercial/service enablement.
• Experience in a service, technical, B2B or international environment is a strong asset.
• You understand adult learning principles, blended learning formats and practical learning journey design.
• You are interested in service business models, customer value, sales enablement and business transformation.
• You can translate complex business or technical content into clear, engaging learning material.
• You are a strong facilitator and communicator who can engage different audiences.
• You are structured, hands-on and proactive, with strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• You are fluent in English. Other European languages are an asset.
• You enjoy working internationally, are willing to travel occasionally within EMEA.
• You are based in Brussels, with regular travel to our Ostend office.
