With 25 partners, 24 (senior) counsels, and more than 100 associates, the firm offers unique expertise and extensive experience across all areas of Belgian and European business law.

A significant proportion of Eubelius’s work is cross-border, supported by privileged relationships with outstanding independent law firms in numerous foreign jurisdictions.

The firm’s client base is highly diverse, ranging from Fortune 500 multinationals to local entrepreneurs, as well as many entities with public-law status and numerous Belgian companies that form part of large international groups.

To strengthen its Brussels team, Eubelius is seeking a (Sr) Corporate/M&A Associate with expertise in Corporate Law and M&A.

As a Corporate/M&A Associate, you will, among other responsibilities:

  • provide clients with a broad range of legal assistance, including in relation to M&A, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, management incentives, corporate restructurings, and general corporate law advice, in both domestic and cross-border contexts;
  • offer guidance on all corporate law issues that an organisation may encounter throughout its lifecycle, in both contentious and non-contentious matters;
  • build and maintain excellent client relationships;
  • contribute to the management and development of the team; and
  • support the team’s growth ambitions.

Profiel

  • A Belgian law degree which shows evidence of strong academic results.
  • Fluent in Dutch and an excellent knowledge (both written and verbal) of French and English.
  • Dynamic, hands-on attorney with the ambition to further develop the Corporate/M&A practice at Eubelius.
  • Not afraid to take on responsibility, a real team player and a strong communicator.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience.
