POSITION OVERVIEW

The Solution Executive is a key member of the Solutions team responsible for providing business leadership and strategic technical direction for customers. They will work to build and maintain broad relationships internally and externally, coach, and guide TEKsystems Global Services Sales, Practice & Delivery on strategy and relevant solutions and advise a team of extended partners throughout the sales process. They are responsible for solutioning and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. The Solution Executive will be the primary driver for identifying, scoping, and creating solutions/proposals that encompass technical approach, best practice, implementation, team structure, pricing, SoW and contracts. They work with all appropriate TEKsystems Global Services and partners to support customer interests and will understand how to strongly advocate for their customer and balance that with the business needs of TEKsystems. The Solution Executive is the Solution Owner.

The Solution Executive shows the ability to think strategically and long term about the needs of global businesses, and their financial implications. They show deep understanding of digital transformation of complex legacy IT environments to new native digital environments. The knowledge of Platform and Infrastructure Modernisation as well as Application and Data Modernization, and how to leverage advanced AI/ML to solve complex industry challenges will be an advantage. Understanding of the broad ServiceNow, Azure and AWS ecosystem and partner requirements makes them stand out from other Solution Executive peers.

The Solution Executive takes the lead in driving collaboration and high-quality results across Sales, Solution Architects, Commercial, and Technical teams to support our strategic goals and deliver value to our customers. The Solution Executive maintains an individual portfolio of many simultaneous opportunities within the sales/solutioning business cycle including pre-sales strategy, solutioning, contracting, and transition to delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field
• Master’s in business administration or equivalent is a plus, but not required
• 15+ years’ experience in Information Technology and/or Professional Services required
• 10+ years’ experience in a professional services organization; 5+ years in client facing presales roles interfacing with business, sales and technology executives.
• Experience and understanding of an IT Consulting service provider environment, ideally in the areas of; Infrastructure and Platform Modernisation. Application and Data Modernisation experience desirable.
• IT services presales understanding of Infrastructure and Platform Modernisation and Enterprise Operations including:
• ServiceNow - ITSM, CMDB + other modules
• Virtualisation platforms modernisation – VMWare/Broadcom, Red Hat OpenShift, Hyper-V
• Modern Workplace – Service Desk, Desktop Field Services
• Data Centre technician and engineering services, and Data Centre critical environments
• Experience across multiple industry verticals including Financial Services.
• Understanding of Enterprise Cloud services relating to AWS and Microsoft.
• Certifications – related to ServiceNow and AWS or Azure ideally.
• Experience in full DevOps life cycle of modern software development or methodology using Agile/Scrum/Kanban etc. Requirements analysis, design, development, automation, testing and implementation.
• Familiarity with GenAI services
• Experience developing effort/cost estimates, service pricing, writing statements of work, and reviewing/contributing to client contractual agreement.
• Experience working with enterprise clients across the UK and Mainland Europe.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with client business, technical, process, resource, and contractual requirements.
• English speaking and business writing a must, Dutch an advantage.
• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is required; a master’s degree or other relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with an organization

KEYS TO SUCCESS

• Must have outstanding presentation and writing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the client and TEKsystems Global Services organization
• Must have strong business and information technology acumen with the ability to communicate capabilities, gather and assess client requirements, and communicate solution and value proposition to clients
• Ability to support the GTM strategy in region.
• Must have strong technical understanding with the ability build credibility with IT and Business Leadership
• Ability to set the strategic direction while also being able to operate at a detailed level.
• Outstanding facilitation, presentation, verbal, and writing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the client and organisation.
• Occasional travel will be required.
