Corporate Banking Operations Associate

As a Corporate Banking Operations Associate, you will join the Business Support department of an international banking institution specialized in financial services for corporate clients. This is a temporary assignment, offering you the opportunity to gain valuable experience within an international banking environment. In this role, you will contribute to the smooth and accurate execution of daily corporate banking operations related to payments, remittances, guarantees and cash management. You will work closely with internal teams and clients, ensuring that transactions and requests are processed accurately and on time, in line with internal procedures, controls and regulatory requirements.

Description

• You ensure that daily business-as-usual operations are completed accurately and on time;
• You manage and prioritize email communications across multiple group mailboxes covering Payments, Remittance, Guarantees and Cash Management;
• You handle customer and internal inquiries by email and phone, ensuring timely and appropriate responses;
• You process and monitor incoming and outgoing payments, manual payment orders, direct debits and standing orders;
• You administer and follow up on specific tariffs, fees and remittance charges;
• You support Trade Finance operations, including document handling, transaction due diligence and follow-up until completion;
• You manage Guarantee requests, including issuance, amendments and cancellations, and liaise with the relevant departments;
• You maintain and update e-banking contracts and ensure compliance with KYC requirements;
• You perform daily checks on Nostro accounts, account maintenance and end-of-day reconciliations;
• You participate in monthly controls, outsourced services reviews and Third Party Risk Management activities;
• You contribute to process improvement initiatives and ensure that desktop procedures remain up to date;
• You participate in system build testing and provide support to the London Operations team when required.

• You have a first experience within a banking, financial or administrative environment;
• You have a good command of English;
• You are accurate, organized and have a strong eye for detail;
• You are able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously;
• You are proactive, solution-oriented and enjoy contributing to process improvements;
• You enjoy working in an international environment and are a true team player.
