For an international manufacturing company in the Aalst region, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to help ensure the optimal operation of an advanced machine park. You will work in a two-shift system: Early shift: 06:00–14:00 Late shift: 14:00–22:00 As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving industrial machinery and technical installations. Thanks to your expertise, production processes remain reliable and downtime is kept to a minimum. Your tasks and responsibilities Carrying out preventive maintenance on production machines, injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults. Carrying out corrective repairs in the event of technical breakdowns. Analysing faults and looking for sustainable solutions. Independently carrying out small technical projects and improvements. Actively contributing to optimizations aimed at increasing the reliability and efficiency of the machine park. Working closely with the production department to minimize downtime. Working according to applicable safety, quality and environmental standards. Helping to maintain a clean, safe and well-organized working environment.

Profile
You have a strong technical background and enjoy working hands-on. In addition, you have: A technical qualification in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery. Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance in a production environment. Basic knowledge of PLC control systems is an advantage. If you have limited experience in this area, you will have the opportunity to develop this knowledge internally. Experience with injection moulding machines is an advantage, but is not required. A good command of Dutch. The ability to understand technical documentation in English and/or German. Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach. A hands-on mentality and a strong sense of responsibility. Good team spirit combined with the ability to carry out interventions independently.
