# About You To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria** 1. Degree level experience developed through considerable knowledge and skills gained through work experience in a similar post 2. An advanced range of analytical or practical skills in related to LC-MS including MS/MS and HRMS and a well- developed working knowledge of LC-MS analytical practices and procedures. 3. Knowledge of quality standards (e.g., UKAS and WADA) including the use of certified reference materials 4. A good understanding of quality assurance as applied to scientific laboratories (e.g., Technical Documents) and/or an accredited laboratory related to LC-MSS. 5. Demonstratable skills in data interpretation and evaluation of LC-/MS/MS outputs including the use of controlled spreadsheets 6. Demonstrable commitment to the highest standards of professional conduct, integrity, ethical practice, and reliability, with adherence to anti-doping codes of ethics and a proven record of accountability. 7. Take the lead in carrying out confirmation procedures, method development and method validation demonstrating strong planning & organisational skills and a willingness to learn new techniques. 8. Demonstrate leadership and training abilities beyond LC technologies. such as handling of biological samples (blood, urine, DBS), pH/SG/physical measurements **Desirable criteria** 1. Previous experience of working in an analytical anti-doping setting 2. Experience of working in a UKAS accredited laboratory to ISO specification 3.
