Equipment and Maintenance Technician

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the SLM titanium 3D printer and wire EDM system, ensuring reliable equipment performance and supporting the production of high-quality implants.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment used throughout the production process, in accordance with the applicable qualification and maintenance plans.
• Maintain close communication with machine and equipment suppliers, coordinate and schedule maintenance visits, and manage stock levels of required spare parts and consumables.
• Support the investigation, analysis and resolution of potential non-conformities related to equipment and machinery.
• Ensure that equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with applicable quality, safety and production requirements.
• Keep maintenance records and relevant equipment documentation up to date.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering (mechanical, electromechanical or related discipline), or demonstrable professional experience in industrial maintenance within a similar environment.
• Technical understanding of industrial machinery and maintenance processes.
• Knowledge of build-preparation software for additive manufacturing, including setting parameters such as laser power, scan speed, orientation and supports based on the printing material, is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Previous experience in the medical device, cleanroom or industrial sector is an advantage.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
