Copywriter

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate briefs into high-value content aligned with business objectives and content pillars.
• Create and optimise content across articles, emails, social media, web pages, video scripts and other formats.
• Optimise content for SEO/GEO, search engine visibility, AI Overviews and LLM responses.
• Use tools such as Surfer SEO to improve content authority and visibility.
• Use AI tools for research, copywriting, optimisation and translation while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with visual/audiovisual experts to develop videos, carousels and short-form content.
• Translate and adapt content from French and English into Dutch.
• Analyse content performance and propose improvements based on traffic, engagement, CTR, SOV and conversions.
• Ensure content follows regulatory requirements, including non-misleading commercial communication and anti-greenwashing standards.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Storyteller / Copywriter.
• Native-level Dutch with excellent writing skills.
• Very good passive French proficiency.
• Good English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, Languages, Literature, or equivalent experience.
• Strong journalistic background and experience creating thought-leadership and/or accessible technical content.
• Proven SEO optimisation experience.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to create clear and engaging content across multiple channels.
• Experience using AI tools for research, copywriting, optimisation and translation.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with GEO optimisation.
• Experience in the individual/retail customer segment.
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• Understanding of marketing funnels and customer journeys.
• Ability to interpret content performance indicators such as engagement, reach, CTR and SOV
• Experience with Surfer SEO.
