SamanTree Medical is a privately held Belgian–Swiss medical device company improving precision in surgery through innovative imaging, with headquarters in Liège (Belgium), R&D in Lausanne (Switzerland) and U.S. regional headquarters in Boston. • Profile: Bachelor's or Master's student (HR, Management, Business Engineering, Sustainability or equivalent) — final-year internship
• Duration: Full time, 4 to 6 months
• Start date: To be agreed, ideally Q4 2026
• Location: Awans (Belgium), on site with some flexibility
• Reporting line: HR team, reporting to the Head of HR, with direct exposure to the Executive Team

As part of our continued growth, we are professionalizing our HR processes and launching our ESG journey. We are looking for a highly motivated student to own both the rollout of our new HRIS (HiBob) across Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, UK, Denmark, France and the United States, and the foundations of our first ESG strategy and reporting.

Your Missions

HRIS (HiBob) — Support the HR team with:

• Configuring the platform (structure, workflows, permissions, country-specific leave policies)
• Supporting employee data migration and clean-up
• Drafting documentation and user guides for HR admins and employees
• Preparing training materials and supporting the launch across our teams in the different countries

ESG — Support the HR team with:

• Drafting practices, identifying material topics, benchmarking comparable organizations, and contributing to our first ESG Policy and a 3–5 year roadmap
• Building the first social indicators (diversity, training, turnover, health & safety, engagement) in line with CSRD / VSME and investor expectations, and designing a simple ESG dashboard
• Supporting a preliminary assessment of energy, travel and operations; reviewing well-being and D&I practices; proposing governance and ethics principles

Deliverables

A configured and documented HRIS with user guides and training materials, an ESG diagnostic and materiality assessment, a draft ESG Policy, an HR and ESG KPI dashboard, a multi-year roadmap, and a management presentation of findings and recommendations.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's student seeking an internship in HR or work psychology, management or business engineering, economics or sustainable finance, sustainability, CSR or engineering
• Comfortable with digital tools and data — Excel required, PowerPoint proficiency expected; first exposure to an HRIS or a no-code tool is a plus, not a prerequisite
• Strong analytical, research and synthesis skills, excellent written communication, and the ability to run a project end to end
• Fluent French and professional English (essential — our teams and tools are international)
• Autonomous, curious, organized and rigorous, with an entrepreneurial mindset: you will own a real scope, not only a support role
