At Ahlers, we’re looking for an Operational Excellence & Systems Adoption Lead – Freight Forwarding.

🌍 We are strengthening the way our international forwarding teams work with our new OMS/TMS.

And we’re looking for someone who can turn that ambition into everyday practice.

🎯 YOUR MISSION

🔹 Work closely with local teams to understand bottlenecks and improve operational workflows.

🔹 Establish practical and consistent processes, with clear responsibilities and shipment milestones.

🔹 Help colleagues use the OMS/TMS confidently and consistently through coaching, training and hands-on support.

🔹 Lead improvement projects across different offices and countries.

🔹 Track progress and embed improvements together with local process owners and key users.

👤 WHAT YOU BRING

✔️ Solid operational experience in international freight forwarding, ideally around 5–8 years.

✔️ Practical experience implementing or improving the adoption of a TMS, OMS or similar forwarding platform.

✔️ Strong project management skills and the ability to engage people across teams and cultures.

✔️ The ability to see the bigger picture while still being comfortable diving into the operational details.

✔️ A degree in business, economics, logistics or a related field — or equivalent relevant experience.

✔️ Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally
