NextLink is having an existing position as a Front End Technical Architect in Brussels area, Belgium.

Nextlink is actively looking for a Front-End Technical Architect with strong Angular/.NET expertise,

architectural vision, and technical leadership skills, capable of defining and promoting development

standards, supporting delivery teams, driving the lifecycle management of our technologies, and

contributing to the industrialization of our solutions.

Passionate about innovation, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence, the successful candidate will also act as a coach and mentor, helping to develop the team's skills, foster continuous learning, and support the evolution of our development practices and technical maturity.

Profile:

• Language: English fluent + Dutch fluent + French fluent

• Minimum 3 years of experience

• Ability to translate business and functional requirements into sustainable technical architectures.

• Experience producing architecture documentation, technical recommendations and implementation guidelines.

• Experience assessing impacts, risks and dependencies of technology changes.

• Expert knowledge of Angular and modern Front-End development practices.

• Strong knowledge of .NET /.NET Core ecosystems.

• Experience defining reusable components, patterns, frameworks and development standards.

• Strong understanding of Web Security standards and secure development practices.

• Experience with performance optimization, scalability and maintainability of web applications.

• Knowledge of Authentication and Authorization standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML).

• Experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect or Senior Software Engineer in a complex enterprise environment.

• Strong experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade web applications

• Strong technical leadership and coaching skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present architectural

decisions to governance boards.

• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical capabilities.

• Proactive, autonomous and able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Bonus :

• Experience leading proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives.

• Experience evaluating solution options and facilitating technical decision making.

• Experience contributing to enterprise architecture and technology strategy

• Experience with Design Systems and UI component libraries.

• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools (GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants,

GenAI solutions).

• Experience performing architecture assessments and technology evaluations.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and automated quality controls

• Experience in insurance or financial domain.

• Experience working within an Architecture Board or similar governance body.

• Experience defining development standards, architecture guidelines and reusable frameworks.

• Experience supporting multiple delivery teams and providing architectural governance.

• Experience managing technology lifecycle, upgrades and technical debt reduction initiatives.

Requirements
5–7 years of professional software engineering experience (medior to senior level preferred). Strong Python programming skills with solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices. Strong technical analysis, architecture, and design skills. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants. Experience designing AI agents, developer tooling, plugins, prompt engineering, or AI-enabled software development workflows is highly desirable. Experience building scalable software for cloud environments. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Passion for delivering high-quality software and reliable releases. Ability to balance tactical delivery with long-term architectural vision. Strong ownership mindset and decision-making ability. Experience mentoring and collaborating across multiple engineering teams.
