Are you a hands-on CNC expert with a passion for coaching and Lean manufacturing?

At Xeryon, we are establishing a self-steering machine team. As our Coach & Facilitator, you will empower equal technical specialists in CNC milling, robotics, and CAD/CAM to achieve maximum autonomy, quality and operational excellence. In this pioneering role you will be able to make a huge and highly visible impact.

What will you do?

As a Manufacturing Coach & Facilitator, you serve as the bridge between high-tech precision machining and team empowerment. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you support an autonomous cell managing CNC milling, laser cutting, soldering, and glueing robotics.

You do not dictate work from above; instead, you actively facilitate daily stand-ups, continuous improvement, and consent-based decision-making. By balancing technical oversight with servant leadership, you remove operational roadblocks and ensure overall production goals are met. You foster transparent CAD/CAM code sharing and cross-skilling across all team members. Ultimately, you turn engineering potential into a synchronized, high-performing production cell.

In this role, you facilitate and support five core operational pillars:

• Process & Cadence Facilitation: Guide daily stand-ups (10–15 min), bi-weekly retrospectives, and monthly technical reviews to optimize daily planning and eliminate machine bottlenecks.
• Team Autonomy Coaching: Empower team members across rotating roles (Tech Lead, Planning Facilitator, Quality Champion, TPM Coordinator) using consent-based decision-making.
• Cross-Skilling & SOP Alignment: Drive multi-skilling across CAD/CAM programming and robotics while safeguarding shared programming standards and peer code reviews.
• Roadblock Removal & Liaison: Eliminate operational and organizational friction while reporting cell KPIs, performance metrics, and strategic resource needs to the Production Manager.
• Lean & Quality Culture: Facilitate root-cause analyses (5-Why) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to continuously elevate cell safety, 5S status, and product quality.

To succeed in this hands-on technical coaching role, you meet the following criteria:

• 3+ years of professional experience in a high-tech manufacturing, precision engineering, or machining environment.
• Proven hands-on proficiency in CNC CAD/CAM programming (milling) with a solid understanding of tooling, machining strategies, and post-processors.
• Practical familiarity or strong affinity with automated/robotic cells (lasers, soldering, or gluing).
• Practical exposure to Lean, TPM, Agile manufacturing, or consent-based decision-making models.
• Professional fluency in English and/or Dutch with clear reporting skills.
