Senior Business Analyst Invest - Freelance

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to translate business and regulatory needs into solutions for investment services, with a focus on securities custody and SRD II compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine the business and functional requirements for SRD II compliance.
• Perform impact analyses across business, regulatory, legal and operational processes.
• Translate business ideas and stakeholder needs into features and detailed requirements.
• Refine solutions with the Product Owner and contribute to cost estimates and business cases.
• Ensure development teams receive complete and accurate information.
• Gather, understand and challenge the needs of internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Legal and Compliance.
• Prepare and facilitate stakeholder workshops.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies.
• Report progress, risks and dependencies at different organisational levels.
• Lead change activities, including launch preparation, go-to-market coordination and IT releases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams responsible for custody, securities events and position management.

Profile

• At least six years of relevant experience in business analysis and securities handling.
• Strong knowledge of investment products and services.
• Demonstrated experience in securities handling.
• Experience within Retail Banking and Private Banking.
• Experience translating business ideas into features and functional requirements.
• Experience working in an agile project environment.
• Proven ability to lead workshops involving diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance within investment services.
• Experience collaborating with Sales, Legal, Compliance and technology teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in business sciences, or equivalent professional experience.
• Certification in an agile methodology is considered an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken Dutch or French, with a good understanding of the other language.
• Strong written and spoken English, as English is the main working language of the team.
