About the Role

As Business Insights Expert, you will collect, analyse and consolidate market, customer, member and competitive intelligence and translate it into insights that support business development, marketing and organisational decision-making. In this role, you will help guide acquisition priorities, identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Your Responsibilities will include:

Market and competitive intelligence

• Monitor and analyse market trends, industry developments and external data sources
• Identify emerging opportunities, market gaps and potential risks
• Track competitor positioning, value propositions, pricing models and strategic developments
• Partner with external research and data providers when required
• Deliver insights that support strategic planning and acquisition priorities

Customer, member and pipeline insights

• Analyse CRM, pipeline and customer data to uncover trends and opportunities
• Conduct win/loss analysis and customer behaviour analysis
• Generate insights from customer feedback and qualitative research
• Identify high-potential markets, segments, geographies and use cases
• Anticipate changing customer needs and buying behaviours

Prioritisation and business decision support

• Develop data-driven frameworks to prioritise markets, segments and opportunities
• Support acquisition strategy through evidence-based recommendations
• Provide insights that help focus resources and investments on high-value opportunities
• Enable more informed and effective business development decisions

Insight translation and stakeholder enablement

• Transform complex data into clear, compelling and actionable recommendations
• Provide insights that support targeting, positioning and messaging decisions
• Equip business development and marketing teams with evidence, proof points and market intelligence
• Support the organisation in building a stronger culture of data-driven decision-making

Data quality and continuous improvement

• Consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources
• Identify gaps, overlaps and opportunities to improve data quality and processes
• Recommend improvements to tracking, reporting and insight generation capabilities

Your profile

• Master's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in business intelligence, market research, commercial insights, strategy, consulting or a related field
• Experience working with CRM platforms and analysing customer and pipeline data
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Commercial mindset and business acumen. Knowledge of market research and competitive intelligence methodologies
• Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable way. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Professional proficiency in English;
