Do you love cars as much as technology? At B&C Consulting, you’ll be surrounded by them eight hours a day, working alongside people who share that passion.

We create ECU tuning files and multi-map solutions for our own centres and professional tuners worldwide. We’re looking for an AI & Automation Engineer who wants to build useful software, apply AI to real technical challenges and develop expertise in automotive tuning.

Your role:

• Working directly within our file-service team, you’ll identify opportunities for automation and turn them into practical, reliable tools.
• You’ll combine software development and applied AI with a growing understanding of ECU tuning.
• Your work will help streamline daily operations and create more room for specialist engineering and product development.
• You’ll own projects from initial idea through implementation and maintenance, working closely with our technical specialists and coordinating with IT.
• Alongside your automation work, you’ll receive training to develop your skills as an ECU calibrator.
• You’ll contribute your existing technical expertise from the start, while learning through practical assignments and focused guidance.

What you’ll do

• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
• Design, build and maintain internal software tools and integrations.
• Apply AI to practical technical challenges and assess the quality of its output.
• Improve how technical information is organised, retrieved and reused.
• Test and document solutions so they remain reliable and easy to maintain.
• Work with automotive specialists to translate operational needs into useful software.
• Gradually contribute to calibration and multi-map projects as your knowledge develops.

What you bring

• At least a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, software engineering or a closely related field.
• A genuine passion for cars, performance and automotive technology.
• Practical experience delivering software, automation or integrations used in day-to-day operations.
• Strong programming skills, preferably including Python, and familiarity with APIs and databases.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools, coding assistants and automated workflows.
• The ability to understand unfamiliar processes, investigate problems and work independently.
• Good judgement about when to use AI, conventional software or expert review.
• A disciplined approach to testing, documentation and handling confidential technical information.
• Clear communication and a collaborative working style.

Hands-on experience with reverse-engineering tools and decompilers such as Ghidra or IDA Pro is a big plus.Experience with ECU calibration, WinOLS, binary analysis or automotive software is also an advantage.

You don’t need to be a calibrator already—we’re looking for a capable IT professional who can deliver automation and is eager to learn the automotive side.

Location and schedule:

The role is based at our offices in Willebroek, Belgium, with a Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule.

You’ll initially work from the office to become familiar with our team, tools and processes. Some remote work may be possible over time.
