Electrical Equipment - Quality Engineer

As part of our Energy activities, we are looking for an Electrical Equipment Quality Engineer to ensure the compliance, quality and reliability of electrical equipment delivered and installed within highly regulated industrial environments. You will play a key role throughout the lifecycle of electrical systems, from design review and supplier follow-up to installation, testing and qualification activities. Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Construction and Procurement teams, you will ensure that all electrical equipment complies with technical specifications, quality requirements and applicable regulations.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• Review and assess technical documentation related to electrical equipment and installations.
• Ensure compliance of electrical systems and equipment with project specifications, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in supplier qualification activities, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Perform quality inspections and witness testing activities during manufacturing, installation and commissioning phases.
• Monitor and manage non-conformities, deviations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, suppliers and contractors to resolve quality issues.
• Support qualification, validation and commissioning activities when required.
• Review quality documentation including test reports, certificates, inspection records and manufacturing dossiers.
• Ensure traceability and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality management and equipment reliability.

ABOUT YOU:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, quality assurance, equipment qualification or industrial projects.
• First experience within the pharmaceutical or nuclear industry is required.
• Strong understanding of electrical equipment, industrial installations and quality processes.
• Experience reviewing technical documentation, inspection records and supplier deliverables.
• Knowledge of FAT, SAT, commissioning or qualification activities is considered a strong asset.
• Familiarity with regulated environments and quality management systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
