Treasury Accounting Analyst

About the Role

As a Treasury Accounting Analyst, you will play a key role in managing treasury-related accounting activities for multiple affiliates within a global organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions while supporting treasury operations, compliance requirements, and ongoing transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute treasury accounting transactions related to cash management activities for assigned affiliates.
• Process and reconcile electronic bank statement postings accurately and within strict daily deadlines.
• Perform accounting for financial transactions, ensuring all balances are fully reconciled and accounted for correctly.
• Support the onboarding of new affiliates into the treasury management system, ensuring accurate implementation of balances and financial results in collaboration with Finance and Global Services teams.
• Take ownership of month-end close activities, ensuring treasury-related transactions are accurately reconciled, reported, and completed within established timelines.
• Prepare and deliver financial reporting to internal stakeholders and other finance functions.
• Ensure treasury accounting processes comply with US GAAP requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls.
• Act as a key point of contact for treasury accounting matters, providing guidance and support to assigned affiliates and collaborating closely with other treasury teams.
• Contribute to treasury transformation initiatives, including system and process improvements associated with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in finance or accounting within an international business environment.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles; knowledge of US GAAP is advantageous.
• Experience working with financial systems, processes, and reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality work.
• Compliance-focused mindset with an appreciation for financial controls and governance.
• Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn and develop.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt within a dynamic environment.

• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to treasury operations or treasury accounting processes.
• Experience participating in finance transformation or ERP implementation projects, particularly SAP S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance frameworks and internal control environments.
